This year Labour Mobility Initiative Association turned 5! It’s one of the reasons why the annual General Meeting of LMI Members was exceptional.
The meeting was held on May 25th in Kraków. It started with formalities – LMIA Members unanimously adopted resolutions on financial statement and activity reports of the Board and the revision committee for the 2017.
Another part of the meeting were the reports of the Board and the LMI Team, summing up all of the last year’s activities in the main fields.

Mr Schwarz has also discussed the level of fulfillment of particular strategic goals, planned during last year’s General Meeting. Also he gave a few words about the most important events of the past year: CEPS Conference in Brussels, joint workshops for the domestic care sector co-hosted by LMIA and VHBP in Kraków and Berlin, conferences in the European Parliament and other, in which LMI representatives participated as experts. The report was closed by presentation of the strategic goals for the next year and posing the key questions about the future of our Association.
This part included reporting from LMI employees. Dr. Marcin Kiełbasa has presented his work in the field of legal research, advisory and consulting provided for LMI Members, as well as workshops and training he held and providing LMI Members with information about ongoing events and relations with external partners.
Joanna Jankowska has summarized the administrative and financial issues, such as amount of LMI Members, Associations’ budgeting and the Lobbying Fund, launched in purpose of financing additional LMI activities in course of legislative works on the Posting of Workers Directive revision.
Magda Zgłobica has discussed the V European Labour Mobility Congress, including finances, topics and organizational isuues and plans for the VI edition.
Current media presence of the Association was presented by the Association’s Spokesperson – Agnieszka Porębska.
